Style with Purpose
Helpless. Heart on the floor. Unable to communicate my feelings. These are not words you expect to read in a fashion blog, but it was the way I found myself feeling after a fashion show a few years ago. One my close friends, who was also modeling for me in the show, had just confessed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She explained to me she was so grateful to participate in something where she could feel and look her best one last time before her treatment.
In 2015, Ming Wang Knits created the Hope Wrap to address our family, friends, and customers who were going through treatment for cancer.

Generosity Happens.”

We have partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge to distribute the Hope Wraps to their patients. Every time a Hope Wrap is purchased, Ming Wang donates a wrap to Hope Lodge.
I have found myself buying the Hope Wrap each year for the many people that are touched by cancer. Without words, the meaning of the Hope Wrap helps me communicate the feelings I have such a hard time expressing. I will continue to purchase these wraps year after year, because every time I click on “Submit Order,” I know another patient is receiving a wrap filled with love, support, and hope.
To date, over 6,000 wraps have been given to patients going through treatment. Through December, for each Hope Wrap or jacket purchased in the Bushberry (red) color group, a 2018 Hope Wrap will be donated to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
